IMPLEMENTATION
FastPass Password Manager will in most installations be ready to use after just a few minutes of configuration. The simple steps to follow to make a test of the end-user functionality are the following :
1. Configure a User Repository object representing your Active Directory
2. Configure the desired Authentication Settings for the “Enroll User” operation
3. Configure the desired Authentication Settings for the “Reset Password” operation
4. Execute the tests in the Self-Service Client.
After successful completion of the tests the rest of the solution is ready to be discovered and the typical steps to follow are:
1. Configure a mail server.
2. Configure and execute a Discovery Profile to discover a few users.
3. Configure and execute an Enrollment Profile to invite a few users.
4. Test that mail has been received and let the user enroll.
5. Examine the Enrollment Status Report.
6. Examine the Audit Details Report.
And that’s all – ready to benefit from User Self-service!!
