FastPass meets PCI DSS compliance demands

FastPass Password Manager V 3.3 has been tested and met the high demands from the Payment Card Industry – Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

 

The PCI DSS is a set of best practices defined by the PCI Security Standards Council, covering industry-wide requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other critical protective in order to safeguard sensitive data in particular customer data.

According to FastPassCorp’s Director of Business Development, Jesper Østergaard, the PCI DSS testing, that was performed by an Authorized PCI Scanning Vendor, reaffirms FastPassCorp’ commitment to the highest levels of data security and coding standards. “The extensive test and approval recognizes the integrity of the FastPass Password Manager solution, the use of secure coding standards and the use of best practices and guidelines to protect sensitive customer data and minimize risk.” “We recognize that by being supplier of security and authentication software, our clients puts a level of thrust into our hands. The test (see the PDF document), that was very extensive and performed as an independent audit of FastPass Password Manager, was conducted by nSense, a third-party Authorized PCI Scanning Vendor.
