Checkpoint Full Disk Encryption

The number of organizations introducing Endpoint encryption on their mobile devices is growing. The risk of data loss in the event that a notebook is stolen or lost is making this vital to many organizations. This increased security measure is adding another layer of user authentication. The user must logon to the Endpoint encryption solution as the first stage in firing up the laptop.

The FastPass Self-service for Endpoint-encrypted devices allows the user to reset the password through self-service, in much the same way as if it were a password reset for AD or any other system, via a user-friendly self-service interface.

User Self-service Reset in Three Stages

FastPass Password Manager can be accessed from any mainstream web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox, or via the login interfaces of Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. Adding a third access layer – Endpoint encryption – provides a more secure computing environment, but also adds to the potential support burden and risk of users getting locked out. FastPass provides Self-service at all 3 layers.
