FAQ Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How can FastPass help me when I have forgotten the password to my PC?
A: Even in that situation you can change your password with FastPass and subsequently log-on. It requires:
1. The FastPass PC-client is installed (available for XP, Vista, Windows 7) on your PC
2. Your PC is connected to your company’ Domain Controller
When requesting the FastPass Forgotten password function on the log-in screen, you will see a browser opens. This browser gives you access to FastPass, although you have not logged-on to your PC yet!! (the browser is invoked in Kiosk-mode, which means it cannot be used for other purposes)
You can now via FastPass change your Password, and the Domain Controller knows your new password, and you can then log-on to your network and your PC.
Q: We have employees with different languages. How do we administrate this?
A: The end-user language is determined by the language setting in the user’ browser.
